Littleronin
Just under 9%. Just broke out the calculator and it came out to 8.3% so I wasn't far off in my guess.
gamer.tv
At the moment, nothing. Come September, I’ll be spending about 3/4 of my pay check on bills, some on paying off my credit card and the rest in my savings. My wife is off work for a year now, so we thought it was best that we save as much of her maternity pay as possible and only have her buy food and baby things.

TheLeon
Right now my rent is about 30% of my net pay. It used to be closer to 23%, but last month I took a new position that pays less but is overall much better for me.

heyf00L
It's a pretty high percentage of my take home, probably like 40%. But I put as much into retirement as I can, and that's money I never see and try not to think about.

Brian
Mortgage - 30% net with NJ taxes- 45% net Above is based on if I paid the mortgage and taxes on my own. Typically, all costs are split 50/50 with my wife.
CastlevaniaNut18
11.6% of our combined income. But we also put $1100 extra on the principal every month, so we're on track to have it paid off in a total of 10 years. We have 4 to go. It's our only debt and we'd like to be rid of it ASAP. We split the mortgage each month.

Mines like $230 a month Math error... only 18% but they are still really high here (just outside of Seattle). It’s awesome to have property taxes double your mortgage payment, but I also put down over 50% on my house, so that’s why.

Ominous
Since we are busy at work right now I make enough to pay my mortgage every 1.3 days....so just over 4% of my income.
gamer.tv
This thread reminds me that this is my ideal home set up: Cost of entry, about £35,000 - but installing solar panels, geothermal heating, a biofuel generator etc would lead to no outgoings at all.
