Remarkableriots
Do you like your food mild, hot or blazing hot like ghost peppers or Carolina reaper hot? Most fast food that advertises something as very hot is usually mild imo. I would put my limit around 8/10.
Mr.Vic20
I like a solid heat that lingers for a few minutes after my meal is complete. I especially enjoy the "linger" when I have a cold!
Pikachu
I can handle up to 4* spicy Thai Food, so whatever that is.
Keyser_Soze
I like enough spice that I still can taste the flavor of the food. If all you taste is the hotness of the pepper / spice then I don't like it much. For instance there's this Mexican restaurant that has something called the "shrimp diablo burrito" but it's so spicy you can't really taste the shrimp (i mean it's shrimp and rice so really all you could really taste is the hot stuff I suppose) but like the chipotle chicken burrito I thought was good, spicy, but not too spicy and you could taste the chicken. I guess that means maybe a 6~7/10?
TheLeon
I like some heat, but I don’t enjoy anything that would be labeled a “challenge”.
gamer.tv
i'm less about the overpowering heat but rather peppers that have an incremental, building heat. Sichuan style.
Keyser_Soze
Also I'll say that at work one day someone offered me a fried jalepeno and I ate it, it was spicy but also had some sweetness to it.
Bacon
This is about the spice level I like No clue how spicy it actually is, but I fucking love this shit. Two days a week I have this and a glass a chocolate milk as breakfast.

Bacon
No way. Never in a million years will I do a food challenge. I also refuse to eat more than 2 "instant" ramen things a week cuz I don't want get sick of them. I used to eat these other noodles but one time I ate 3 packs in a week and then I never ate them again.
DPCyric
10/10 I put juiced Carolina Reaper on my chicken and impressed the cooks in Thailand that I can eat on their level. @gamer.tv Where do you live? I know a great Sichuan place that has delicious fish boiled in chili oil.

CastlevaniaNut18
Mild to moderate. Honestly, my reflux is too bad now for me to handle a ton of spicy stuff.
GeneticBlueprint
My wife says I don't have any taste buds because I like spicy foods. She'll ask me how spicy something is and I'll genuinely feel that it's not at all spicy, but she tries it and she's running for the milk and salt. I think I have a very high tolerance and my wife has a very low tolerance.

Brian
Mild - anything hotter it overwhelms the flavor and gives me a runny nose.

Sucks, man. I went bananas with spicy food in a trip to Mexico 3 years ago and I have had horrible GERD since. Btw, Dexilant is by far the best PPI, but it's prohibitively expensive, so I take generic Nexium.

I have to take a stronger dose than OTC, so it gets too expensive. 90 days of pantoprazole from t he employee pharmacy costs me something like $9. I take two prescriptions, that and atorvastatin and my total comes to like $19 and change. I've dealt with GERD since I was 16.

I find pantoprazole does not work that great for me, but if it did, I definitely would prefer to take it considering that price. I'm hoping Dexilant becomes generic soon, as that has the least side effects and you can even take it with food. That sucks that you've dealt with GERD for so long. I've had it for 3 years only and it's pretty upsetting to not be able to eat what you want anymore.
