Mr.Vic20
Whelp, between this and RvsW, we're clearly ready to re-enter the 20th century, which I think we can all agree is great for 20th Century Fox...
Ghost_MH
Of course they are. Since there's no longer a penalty/tax on coverage it will now be ruled as unconstitutional. This was always the plan here.
TwinIon
The most infuriating part in all this is that Trump will run on protecting people with pre-existing conditions and lowering costs and all the other popular parts of the ACA while both getting them overturned in court and only having ever proposed plans that did none of those things, and half the country will believe him anyways. Rodimus
The GOP is protecting pre-existing condition right there.
mclumber1
The best thing that could happen to the Democrats is for SCOTUS to strike down Obamacare - because you know that the GOP doesn't actually have a plan if Obamacare is no longer law. That only works if the Republicans had the House too. Split House and Senate means House Democrats have to pass, something, which the Republicans can either water down or accuse Democrats of being extreme. This is the Republican dream since they don't need the Freedom Caucus to get something.
