CastlevaniaNut18
I think I saw gas at $1.54 yesterday morning. I filled up over a week ago for $1.75. I’m pretty much jut driving to work and that’s it. Making my husband drive his car to get groceries, otherwise, it’d never get any use. Doesn't gas go bad after a month or so? Should I just use it up somehow? As @CitizenVectron said it takes closer to a year. In my experience it’s a much bigger issue on carbureted engines (the fuel in the carburetor likes to gum up). There‘a a product in Canada (I assume it exists in the USA as well) called sea foam that is good for keeping fuel from going bad but I wouldn’t worry about it unless you’re planning on parking your car for months (or if your car is 30+ years old and isn’t fuel injected). I’ve had a bunch of carbureted equipment get gummed up with old fuel when I forgot to use sea foam but I’ve never had a fuel injected engine have the fuel go bad (although I’m sure it can happen given enough time). PaladinSolo
Gasoline is good for like a year or longer if you keep the tank full, its when theres more air in the tank than fuel when it starts to be an issue.

Uaarkson
Honestly, what good is Free Market Capitalism at this point? It has made half of us into minimum wage earners. It has decentralized and offshored our manufacturing capacity. It has been slowly wittling away at the middle class for the last 30 years. It blew up the global financial system in 2008 and cost normal folks 5+ years in lost earning potential. One single company built and then destroyed the city of Flint, and three companies did it to Detroit. Wealth inequality is worse than it was 100 years ago. Good higher education is literally unattainable for the majority. Now we have this virus and tens of millions have lost their jobs and health insurance. Oh but we all have shiny phones and Netflix so it’s all good who cares

Although Yugoslavia and the GDR were pretty wealthy compared to their contemporary socialist counterparts, they paled in comparison to almost every European and North American free market system. Just look at the economic disparity between East and West Germany during the cold war. I know you probably weren't talking specifically about communism or whatever, but that's all we really have to compare free market capitalism against.
