gamer.tv
With a tired little girl on my chest I completed two chapters of RE4. On to Chapter 5!and the end game is starting to come into view. I’ve also played some more of Tony Hawks 1&2 but I’m pretty terrible at it. Keyser_Soze
Been dabbling in some old PS games. I decided I wanted to get through Tecmo's Deception but boy is it archaic. I remember enjoying it back in the day but maybe I'm thinking of the 2nd one. I also played some Ape Escape Check it out, ray tracing back in 1999! Bloodporne
Tried Yakuza Kiwami as my first Yakuza game and bounced off it after about two hours. I'd be into an uninterrupted Final Fight style game with those fighting mechanics but the rest did nothing for me. Bought Ion Fury on Steam and played that for maybe two hours tonight. I'm playing on Normal and the game seems really fucking hard, or more specifically the enemy reaction time is insanely quick

You'll still hate it, but at least you'll hate it starting from the beginning! If you go in thinking that you're playing an RPG with real time combat with a gritty 80s Yakuza story with some silly side quests, you might enjoy it more. I didn't hate it, just not my cup of tea so it was just me waiting for the brawls which made for a really boring experience.

I haven't played Kawami yet but if it's anything like 0 there's big story setup at the beginning and not too much combat but when the game opens up you'll be going around beating up people all over the place. I think the biggest draw is it is low stakes. You can gamble without worry knowing that if you run out of money you can just run out on the streets and kick some hooligan's ass for a bunch of yen and come back. crispy4000
Playing the Spiderman DLC, probably about half way through the middle one (of three). It's alright. More fleshed out than I thought it'd be (and gleamed from reviews), but is still generally more of the same at lower stakes. Combat is a bit more involved, which I like. Really wish they added to the level cap.
Bloodporne
Been playing Ion Fury and while I think it's good and fun, it's nowhere near as clever as Duke Nukem 3D's level design or anything. I recently replayed DN3D so it's still fresh in my mind. There are many small irritations that kind of showball into one of those moments where I just sigh and quit for the night. That might be more up your alley... especially if you know the Manga/Anime.

I did see the anime flick AGES ago when it was going around on dubbed VHS tapes as 'super gory cartoon dude!!!!'.

It’s a brawler with some RPG elements... and all of the over the top gore of the cartoon. I did the prologue and that’s it. Stoped playing as Chapter one started. A lot of cut scenes and the game seems to be following the anime pretty closely in terms of story. Unlocking new moves seems pretty cool too. I’d check it out if I were you. CastlevaniaNut18
Animal Crossing. October is the best month for this game. I'm going to try out Bloodstained sometime this weekend, too. Dre801
Last of Us 2. Jesus, just when I think things are about to wrap up, something else happens. EDIT: Finally freaking finished it. I liked it well enough. That Santa Barbara portion seemed kind of tacked on. Should have wrapped it up when Ellie and Abby fought in the theater. gamer.tv
More Tony Hawks...weirdly after using the D-Pad for most of the first game and being...OK, I tried using the analogue stick and was so much more fluid with the game. I used to play THPS on the GC with the analogue stick and it feels like I’ve rediscovered an old friend now I feel better at the game.
