So at what point is it not worth it for Republicans to support this moron anymore? They should just drop him and run Pence against Biden at this point. This mother fucker is gonna cost republicans for generations... if there's any reason or justice left in the world.

It won't matter because they'll have finished stealing the judiciary.

When polls show republican and republican leanings independent voters no longer support him, other elected republicans would drop him. I don’t see gop voters defecting. He is practically a religious figure with many Republicans, so it’s going to take a lot more to get them to stop supporting him.

GWB is already getting his image rehabbed. Republicans will be fine. Look at WI and MI. Gerrymandered their way into controlling the states. This is what we have to look forward to unless we take actual, bold action for small d democratic reforms like DC statehood and (imo) expanding the house size.

So this is what we have to look forward to.

This should be everyone's reaction.  But I clicked on someone's social media post about drinking bleach to read the comments by strangers, and this is legitimately how one random person defends Trumps...

This way of looking at Trump is what 30+% of Americans must be doing...

You know that person loves Trump "because he says what he means".

PR needs to be a state, DC needs to be a state, and Wyoming, ND, and SD need to be combined into one state or we will continue to be fucked.

Also the nature of a two party only system means the Republicans will be viable. If for nothing less then say people feel a democrat fucks up they will vote for the "other guy".

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was the sole Democrat to vote against a $484 billion coronavirus relief package passed Thursday, a move that earned her progressive praise for being "the conscience of the caucus right now."

The legislation in question, known colloquially as COVID 3.5, easily passed the chamber in a 388 - 5 vote and is headed to President Donald Trump's desk. Ocasio Cortez said the measure failed to address the needs of working families and those most affected by the coronavirus crisis.

"My concern is that we are giving away the farm," Ocasio-Cortez, whose New York district has been ravaged by the coronavirus, told reporters after the vote. "I cannot go back to my communities and tell them to just wait for CARES four because we have now passed three, four pieces of legislation that's related to coronavirus. And every time it's the next one, the next one, the next one, and my constituents are dying."

Due to everyone being at home, not Trump's statements.

This claim is as unsubstantiated as the one blaming Donald.  For what ever reason it’s only being reported what calls they got last year. When seeing figures on how many Poison Control has been receiving on average each day and week since the pandemic started and everyone started going crazy with the cleaning supplies.

if it the numbers didn’t change at all, and the 18 hour period after Donald’s speech saw a significant spike, then there may be a causation. But if the spike occurred in March and maintained a relatively high number that is roughly proportional to the number after Donald’s speech, then the higher calls is due to just people at home more, using cleaning products more, and not being careful.

neither you nor anyone reporting the “story” has enough compelling evidence one way or the other.
