And people who are diagnosed early on can (and will) still die as the virus takes hold in their lungs. Everything about this disease is a time-lag. It takes days to weeks to show symptoms, but during this time it spreads It takes days to weeks for it to get bad in a person It takes weeks for self-isolation/lock-down to show in stats And unfortunately the general public is very bad at understanding this kind of time lag when calculating public policy. chakoo
50 new cases in Ontario today. This brings the provinces total to 308. Of the cases processed so far this morning they're still linked to travel or direct contact to someone who had it.
