atom631
I really loved my elite series 1 controller -but it failed on me. The rubber grips started coming apart and there’s no clear way to fix it. Not a huge deal, but then I started to get drift in the left analog stick. I’m hesitant to buy a series 2 but I loved the weight and feel of the 1. And I hear the improvements are really nice. anyone using one? I’d def get an extended warranty if I grabbed one. Should I maybe look at a scuf?
SimpleG
@atom631 2 co workers bought them. 1 had a trigger issue and the other had a face button issue. The trigger issues caused him to replace it and the face button remedied itself. My personal opinion is they are cheaply made and way over priced. Dre801
They feel good in the hands, but damned if I'm paying what they're asking for one. A friend of my had the first one and that damn thing pretty much fell apart. Hopefully the new ones are better made.
atom631
yeah the price is crazy. I got the series 1 for $80 from monoprice so it wasn’t terrible. sucks to hear they are having QC issues with the series 2 also. Maybe i need to look into a scuf. Keyser_Soze
@Dodger and @Emblazon have one The trick is to get a girlfriend / wife and have them buy it for you.
Dodger
Definitely feels great in my hands. Obviously haven’t had it long enough to notice any quality problems.
Emblazon
I’m in love with mine. It could be that the system forces you to name it, so you feel even more attached to the object. Haven’t had any issues with it at all. I love finally having a screenshot button (that I use in conjunction with the shift functionality). And it’s REALLY nice being able to map face buttons to the paddles so you don’t ever have to take your thumb off the camera controls (right stick). I’ve only been playing Witcher 3 with it, but I can’t wait to dive into other games with the controller.
LazyPiranha
Got one for Christmas this year, and it certainly feels awesome in the hands. No idea about longevity but it didn't disintegrate during a few hours of RE7 so...
