Chris-
I have often wondered what the discussion post-Sandy Hook would have looked like if the crime scene photos had leaked out.

b_m_b_m_b_m
I've been told by a leftist friend that "hey if the democrats want to lose by harping on gun control instead of winning on universal healthcare and minimum wage raises then they should go for it"
sexy_shapiro
That’s appropriately fucked up.

Comet
They would just claim that the same crisis actors at the scenes were recycled for these commercials.

thewhyteboar
Gun owners care more about their dumb hobby than they do about dead children, so this ad won't affect them.
TheLeon
"You know, teaching kids to use gym socks as tourniquets seems like a good, practical idea. And I like that this ad encourages kids to wear practical shoes and improvise weapons if necessary." - some asshole somewhere, probably. ZENOGIAS
I'm an eighth grade middle school teacher in a major city. I nearly had a full anxiety attack today because of unannounced bell testing and unfamiliar ringing patterns. My first thoughts were that our office staff hit a panic button.

My son is 7 and towards the end of school back in May they had an active shooter drill. They had at least 2 before that, but after that last one in May he suddenly had all these questions and fear. Like one night before bed he looked sad and I asked what's up. Then he asked if somebody was going to shoot him at school. As a parent all you can do is reassure them it's safe. I guess the school needs to train them what to do in an emergency but it sure does raise a lot of fear for such a young mind.

Im in a small district and all the classrooms have their own bathroom. they piled all the kids into the bathroom and locked the door. we got a call from the teacher that she was crying and had a little panic attack. it makes me angry and sad that she had to worry about this shit...just bc we dont want to upset the ammosexuals.
