Kal-El814
My Apple Watch display almost always comes on when I move my arm, even in a “subtle” fashion... except when I’m laying in bed. The AOD will be a welcome change.
Alpha1Cowboy
Still trying to decide between the ProMax11 or the Samsung Note10+ or wait for Pixel 4.....although I don't know if Pixel 4 will release on Verizon right away. That screen on the Note10+ is bewitching...

Alpha1Cowboy
what i really want to know.....is if XCloud gonna work with Apple phones.....clearly google is gonna drop stadia on Pixels first..and then rollout to other Android phones...but will it or XCloud work with iPhone or iPad....i use Moonlight right now and PS4 can stream games from anywhere to my iPAD, but Steam was cut off. Alpha1Cowboy
Double Posting....Story Time Wow...so still torn and on the fence I showed up at Verizon at 9:45 Am this morning 15 minutes before it opened.....there were 2 guys in line....thats it. Last year same location about 30 people and the year before over 100. So anyway..we go in and I start looking at my options and they don't have the Midnight Green in stock at all......so I was like..this is a sign....told the guy tell ya what....get me the Samsung Note10+. Apple can fuck off for the year. I've got an iPad that I like so I'm not leaving the park....just the Wild iPhone Ride. The last non Apple phone I had was the Galaxy S3. Anyway....I was just feeling super pissed at Apple today No USB-C Charging Still can't view higher than 1080P video on Youtube No attempt to shrink the Notch Kudos on WiMax6 in device, but the radios still suck and reception in buildings is a pain. Apple Needs to get its shit together and stop beefing with Qualcom, Samsung, and all their other vendors. Next Year I'll go back to Apple if I see things like USB-C Charging No Notch App Support for Google Stadia or MS XCloud 5G 90hz display And now I have to watch some Youtube to figure out how to set this phone up right. Last year there were 5 iPhone users on my plan.. now there's only 1 and obce the pixel 4 comes out....0. Apple you got some work to do. PS :Apple Arcade is awesome on my iPad
CastlevaniaNut18
I just wish they'd make the screen on the watch more durable without having to pay hundreds of dollars more for the stainless steel case. That's bullshit. Both my watches have scratched so easily and I'm not even hard on them.

Kal-El814
Got a Pro and a Series 5 watch. I was on one of the older watch models, the bigger screen is a niceR upgrade than I was expecting just by itself. The notifications / alerts are kind of fucked right now though... my phone alarm isn’t mirrored on my watch, which I use every morning. And my watch calendar knows about upcoming events but always says “no events today,” which again... a feature I use all the time. I’m sure it’ll get sorted but it’s a bummer to upgrade to less features. The Pro is really nice. The battery upgrade has been noticeable even though I’m using my phone more often than usual on account of it being new. Other than that, it’s faster than my X on a few things I do often and the camera is great.
stepee
I’ve played around 20 or so games out of the 30 I’ve downloaded so far on Apple Arcade now and I’m extremely impressed. I’m kind of in the “new console mode” just because of the sheer amount of new games available and different ways to play/experimenting. I’ve been trying on my Apple tv4k and my Iphone Xs Max, with a gamepad on both (I need a clamp for iphone ASAP) and touchscreen on my phone. Testing how quick and easy it is to move from phone to tv using cloud save (it’s quick!) etc. I want to think that this is a watershed moment for phone/set top box gaming that becomes something amazing and viable and all for $5 a month. But the cynic in me tells me this is not sustainable and was just an amazing front loaded push. I do hope Apple can keep it up, a few games seem like they were built in the trapping of old (Mainly Sonic Racing which is obviously a ftp game in development they just took charges out of) but so much of this is legit. No micro transactions, available offline, no ads. Games built as games not casinos. It’s so great to see so much of it at once. And being able to use your xbox or ps gamepads is so huge. I still wish Apple would just make a case with their own form of joycons now but if I can get a study clamp that works laying down in bed it’s all good for now. Side note: Jenny Leclue has been one of my most awaited for games of all time. Not even joking, I stumbled on the playable teaser back in idk like 2014/2015 or so and loved it so much, so I’ve kept the teaser on my phone since then to remind me to always check to see if it’s out yet. It’s kinda cool how it launched with this. Also it seems amazing so far as I suspected.
TheLeon
I’ve only tried a few games so far, but my favorite is easily Grindstone. It’s Capybara Games going back to their Critter Crunch/Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes style of puzzle game.

Last I saw, they were shipped FHD+ as the standard resolution. That's what most people would be looking at. I know my S10 shipped FHD+ by default with the option to switch to QHD if I wanted to. _BJ_
My series 4 had amazing battery life prior to watchOS 6. It has to be an OS issue, I just downloaded 6.01 so hopefully that fixes it.

Being able to view content at a 4K resolution on a 6” screen is comparable to going from a 1” penis to a 2” penis... doubling in size you’d think it makes a difference, but it doesn’t. Emblazon
Also, with the Series 5 Watch, the first day I got it, I could watch the battery life tick down. It was really bad. But since then, battery life has been fantastic. If I tried, I could probably get two days of use out of it. Battery life is definitely better than that of the Series 4, and I’d say on par with the Series 3.

The Youtube 4K Costa Rica video is perfect for doing the test btw For the same price..why not get more lol.....that's like saying you don't want a 90hz display over a 60hz display in your phone at the same price point. Spork3245
Upgraded my iPhone 7 to an 11 Pro, just got the phone yesterday. Took just over 3 hours of arguing with AT&T in their online chat on Black Friday, but I basically got the phone for free (“you’re giving $700+ in credit towards a phone for people switching from another carrier, but nothing to keep current customers? Sprint & Verizon are offering over $800 for me to switch. I’ve been with you guys since before you bought Cingular. Get me to stay” ). Pretty much just had to pay sales tax after all the credits, loyalty bonuses, and specials they gave me. Anyway, this is my first phone without a home button thing on the face... it’s... weird. Any tips on adjusting to it from those that went from a 1-8 to an X-11? Any accessories you guys recommend? I already bought a wireless charging pad. ort
Wait, that's a thing you can do? I should try that. I've also been with AT&T for like 15 years now.
