Credits rolled now I looked it up and see I have 19 more missions to go to beat act 2. I was ready to move on to Astral Chain lol. The structure is weird...it basically ends and then...doesn't! Same happened to me because it was so fucking good that I played it for hours every night. I gave it a break for a month or something and got massively hooked again somehow. I think I have 200 hours or more in that game and I never play games nearly as much.

Well I played more tonight and I will beat the 2nd act. It's just so fun to play and I never get sick of it. If I switch to Astral Chain I'd never come back to MGSV. I have to stay focused!
CastlevaniaNut18
LTTP, but I just wanna say how much I loved this game and I didn't get into this series until after this game came out.
Best
late into the 30's in missions and they are starting to repeat themselves? @Bloodporne is there an ending for act 2 or am I wasting my time now? Edit: I just read I should be skipping the repeat missions and focusing on side ops. That will open new missions which will allow me to beat the game. It's really fun side content.

Time for Astral Chain. You don't actually battle people. It's basically loading you into their customized, decked-out motherbase and you have to try to make it to the comm center through the set up defenses like drones, soldiers, traps etc.

I had one that had zero soldiers. It was an easy 1.5 mil GMP though. Other times there were literally only 3 to 4 guards all E rank. I don't really understand the menus before it where it shows what you can potentially run into?

I haven't played the game in probably a year so I'd have to look but basically as far as I recall, it matches you with people's motherbases that have similar amounts of stats in general? Shit I can't remember what it took for me to get to people's more advanced, crazy bases. Those are really fun because the soldiers are hyper-aware compared to the base game and there's drones and traps and shit everywhere, so it gets very challenging. Edit: I do remember grinding through a few of those near-empty/low rank bases for cheap GMP and resources though... FYI, fully upgrading D-Dog's equipment unlocks some really fun shit he can do, not sure if you guys mainly choose Quiet or D-Dog or the horse though. I may try that when I'm in a gaming drought.
Dodger
Fuck I'm going to end up downloading this again because of you all. I never end up "beating" it but I do fart around for a couple dozen hours.
