I even took a sip of my coworker's cosmopolitan. As much as it pains me to say it, Blue Moon's Cinnamon Horchata is one of my favorite beers. I'd also drink anything Blue Moon before I ever had any Sam Adams/Sierra Nevada/Stone.
thewhyteboar
Had too many different things Saturday night, but capped it off with a delicious boulevardier.
Chris-
Blue Moon is fine, but you'd be insane to suggest it is better than anything those three put out into the market.

I've yet to have a Sierra Nevada or Stone that wasn't horrible, and Sierra Nevada has the worst beer I've ever had. Sam Adams has the second worst beer I've ever had, and is the very definition of a generic brewery.
Chris-
I mean, they don’t dump unfathomable amounts of sugar and cinnamon in their beers, so I can see why they don’t align with your palate, but they are most certainly not ‘horrible’. And truth be told, if you really can’t go above 30 IBUs like (I think) you stated earlier, you really aren’t in a position to opine much about beers; that’d be like someone who doesn’t like tannins talking about wine. Chris-
Moreover, I went back and looked at that post, and your understanding of IBUs is completely facile; for example, Founders All Day IPA is 42 IBU and the Centennial IPA is 65, while their Breakfast Stout is 65 and KBS is 70. Like or dislike what you want, but don’t make quality judgments when your knowledge level doesn’t warrant them.

Chris-
Two from some local breweries: 11th Hour's Dream Cannon #2 - A fucking incredible blueberry/blackberry gose. I normally don't like sours, but this thing is on another level. Easily one of the best beers I've had recently. East End's Fat Gary Nut Brown Ale - A good session brown ale (only 3.7% ABV) Perfect for a Halloween party.

TheLeon
Guinness Irish Wheat - I wouldn't think of going to Guinness for a wheat beer, but I got a 6 pack for $4 so for that price I'm a fan.

Emblazon
@atom631 You really need to find Whole Hog Pumpkin or Schlafly Pumpkin. Also, I'm in downtown Chicago for the next couple of days, so I'll update with what I'm having. Drinking a Hopewell Clover Club Raspberry Kettle Sour. It's aight. Light on flavor. Emblazon
I can't keeps track. Had a Breckenridge Vanilla Porter which was rather tasty, then I had a Lagunitas Little Sumpin Dumplings which wasn't bad for an IPA. Heading to Rock Bottom after this. Chris-
Nah, I don’t really care; people are entitled to their opinion, they just aren’t entitled to blurring the line between opinion and informed judgement. Plus I’ve never had DT, so I have no idea.
