Smith'd them all the way up to +25 and like you said, just absolutely tearing everything to shreds. The blind spot weapon art is sooooo satisfying to use on those enemies with long attack animations. Bacon Posted July 4 Share Posted July 4 First boss back after playing FFXIV. Performed poorly. Next boss I fucked hard. Bayle took me longer than I thought it would. Took like 10 tries before I realized I should just stop trying to use my shield. Did really well until I needed that final hit. Shameful display. lol That notice in the middle of the fight really fucked me up and you can tell Messmer was another lesson in stop blocking all the time and actually dodge. It might look that way, but all I am doing is holding block and spamming the attack button. With spears and a few other poking weapons, you can attack while guarding. The tree fragments are great, shame that there are only EXACTLY 50 so you have to either search like a motherfucker or use a map to find them all. The Furnace Golems. Not fun. Not hard. Very tedious. Some require special throwing items to kill and I hate that a lot. Music was pretty weak. Base game had this issue too. They could have been much cooler. I don’t hate the regular ones but the ones where you HAVE to throw stuff to kill them are BS. Also agree that the music was fine. I do it on occasion because one time I played and the texture was stretching over the camera. I verified the game files and it fixed the problem.
