I remember days ago getting them connected from Lake Knot City to the Craftsman and to the Distribution Center south of it, and I got the roads built far south from the Distribution Center to help get me to Timefall Farm, and I'm like, "Wait.... I can do two deliveries quicker than I could do one because I can just put stuff on a bike and zoom down to the distribution center, or Engineer, instead of carrying a bunch and getting through the rivers and past the mules. Like, there's a HUGE motherflippin' sense of satisfaction when you "connect the world." Well, then you definitely need to get your ass towards zip-line and mountain territory. It really feels great and the whole mountain range is amazing. It did a thing I love in games where you explore a way and get hammered by the game, questioning whether this is even where you're supposed to go because "it can't be asking that of me, can it??", then decide to properly prepare and try to see it through no matter how difficult it might be instead of opting for the easier route and actually end up being handsomely rewarded for it and more.
Kal-El814
I feel like I’ve been farming materials and chiral juice for a while and have... nowhere near enough for later autopavers. It’s crazy.

I unload all my cargo and leave it in a vehicle nearby, then walk into a BT territory armed to the gills and immediately let myself be dragged away. Killing the mini-bosses nets a boatload of crystals. And some of those pavers going to Mountain Knot take massive amounts of shit going through that terrorist territory. I didn't even know they dragged you away because they haven't gotten me yet. This reminds me of the Bloodborne side mission where an enemy had to defeat you in order for you to do it. If you're "caught", which happens especially easily if you happen to drive straight into a BT (that's how I found out the hard way), you're dragged away in that tar and a mini-boss battle ensues. When you kill one of them, they freeze into a chiral crystal shape and burst in the air, leaving a ton of crystal plants all over the place. Last time I did this last night, I ended up with more than 1,000g.

Sweeeeeeet. The Bridges trucks are awesome after only being used to stealing MULE trucks for a while. The cargo capacity lets you go full Road Construction Simulator 2019. You can also approach deliveries as mass deliveries with them as in, I pick up any piece of lost cargo for various preppers etc. along the way and then whenever I feel like it later go on a full circle of a run delivering a massive quantity each.

YES! Now that I have something that carries lots of cargo that can be repaired, I can now claim tons of cargo and help other players out. Also, the trike is still useful because it may be quicker to go from a camp, quickly deliver something on a trike, come back and then zoom to another place and deliver something. AND I HAVEN'T EVEN GOTTEN TO THE ZIP LINES YET OR THE MUCH HYPED AND TOUTED LIMA BEAN POGO STICKS!

Actually I will say the deeper I've gotten into this game, the more it turns out basically everything has its uses for specific situations. The game is expertly designed in that way as far as I'm concerned. There are many items I thought I'd never use and didn't really see the relevance of, or thought were simply overshadowed like truck vs. motorcycle, and I'd end up getting in a situation where I'd think "wouldn't it be cool to...oh yeah wait I have a tool like that, fuck yeah" and then it actually works. TheLeon
So, I found myself poking at a Redbox after doing my grocery shopping tonight, and before I knew it I bought a copy of this game for $25. So there's that.

I can accept its vision and what it wants to be. I can also try and get into it. But not for $60.

I think at this point they’re just selling off all the games they have left, for some pretty solid prices. I also saw Jedi: Fallen Order for $25, but I’m going to borrow that from my brother-in-law at some point.

Bloodporne
I had never used the sticky gun before last night...stupid. That thing is super useful and you can even steal shit off MULEs/terrorists without having to actually fight them if you have a retrieval mission. Brian
the mountains are beautiful but holy fuck what a pain. Due to the lack of support and knee deep snow, I have been setting up zip lines all over the mountain. Now my feet don’t touch the ground. I can zip line to each encampment. I will say bringing each encampment online one at a time can really drag the game down. There are some cool story bits but not enough to make it worth the time investment. SaysWho?
Just realized you could customize your backup to give yourself more room to carry stuff. I have so many roads completed right now, from the Distribution Center North of Mountain Knot City to South Knot to Lake Knot. I have zip lines from DCNofMountain Knot City to the Waystation north of it. I feel fucking good.
Brian
34 minutes ago, best3444 said: Please elaborate. Top slice of the stale white bread is your first taste of the sandwich. It ain’t great. It’s dry and tasteless. You can’t tell if you should continue to chew or not but the sandwich is from a restaurant you like so your faith makes you continue. Then you get to the Pastrami and man it’s good. It’s salty and delicious. You are happy that you didn’t give up on it. Each chew is better than the last. You feel full and satisfied. But then you get to the bottom slice of the stale white bread. You wonder why does it have a bottom slice? It does not need it. My belly goes from blissfully full to gassy and bloated. When will it end? Please end. I beg you to end. As you finally finish it, you feel relief. As you digest, you know you wouldn’t eat it again but a part of you is happy that you ate it.
heydude93
The first two hours of this was the most compelling sci-fi anything I've seen in years in any medium but I stopped caring somewhere around the third act, if there was one. I like the world building and all the fresh ideas explored in this game but on an emotional level it ranged from good to confusing for me. Still hyped to see a Kojima horror game though if he decides to make one.

It keeps getting better for me, and I must be on Chapter 8 or 9 at the moment. It's just amazing once you build the world with roads and ziplines and you're connected stuff from Act 2/3 to stuff in Act 8. It's like, holy shit, I really am connecting the world.
