Emblazon
Peanut butter. Seriously. It's sooo good. Put it on the bottom bun, then the burger on top and it will melt the peanut butter. It adds a really smooth, mellow flavor to the entire burger. Doesn't really matter what other condiments you use, the peanut butter won't dominate the flavor, but fuck is it tasty. You wouldn't think it'd be a good combination, but it truly is. 1
TheLeon
I’ve had a couple different peanut butter burgers. One was a PB&J burger, which worked surprisingly well.

Any recommendation on the Peanut Butter? Some is sweeter than others... I'm curious because I LOVE peanut butter and I LOVE burgers.
DarkStar189
For as much as I love peanut butter, I've yet to try it on a burger. Some day... I know JIF peanut butter melts really good, maybe too good for a hot burger. I put a big spoonful of that on a paper towel and melt it in the microwave for 20 sec, fold the towel in half and drizzle it on ice cream or a bowl of cheerios before you add the milk

JosephManderley
I will try this, I have some almond butter, wonder if that would be good? I had a Burger with blue cheese and grilled slices of pear recently... Amazing!

gamer.tv
About two years ago, I had a chicken burger with peanut butter, soy and ginger and it was fantastic. I agree 100% with your posting(s)
TheGreatGamble
Nope. The only condiments/spreads that should go on burgers is mayo/ketchup/mustard. Everything else is blasphemy.

Mr.Vic20
I too tried one last night! The taste is certainly different, and not in a bad way! I don't know that I would always do this, but its a perfectly viable taste combination, at least according to my taste buds. Results may vary!

Bloodporne
I thought this thread was going to be about some hot chick in a burger costume blowing you. PS: Peanut butter is one of the few American-isms I just cannot get behind even after 20 years here. Just revolting.

Brian
Impossible burger is indeed gross. It shocked me to see the Beyond Meat IPO do so well. Mayo by itself is meh but its ability to make a quick aioli for sandwiches and burger redeems it.

Beyond focuses on being a plant based patty. They aren’t really the similar.

Chris-
Peanut butter on a burger sounds good. The Impossible Burger is a good burger substitute. Mayo is terrible and a condiment for the morally compromised. Cilantro is fantastic.
