Manning was released Thursday afternoon, after the grand jury's term expired — but the U.S. Attorney's office in the Eastern District of Virginia has already subpoenaed her to appear before a new grand jury panel, according to a tweet from Manning's account. Manning, a former military intelligence analyst, has acknowledged leaking hundreds of thousands of military and State Department documents to WikiLeaks in 2010, from battlefield reports to U.S. embassy cables. Those revelations sparked court martial proceedings against her and, more recently, culminated in criminal charges against Julian Assange, WikiLeaks' controversial founder. Manning is due to return to federal court on May 16. Despite an offer of immunity, she has refused to answer questions about WikiLeaks, saying she has already shared what she knows. TheGreatGamble
Lock her back up. If Assange deserves prison for publishing papers, then this traitor should have gotten .

ThreePi
I forgot she was back in jail. I don't know what to say, she was an idiot when she haphazardly released random documents to WikiLeaks in the past and she's an idiot for refusing to testify against WikiLeaks now. On the one hand, I'm kind of wondering if she thinks she could get in trouble over her grand jury testimony? Detaching this from her specific circumstances, that seems like the only sensible reason to refuse to go in. But including her specific circumstances, go figure that someone who got locked up like she did doesn't want to testify.

I support the general gist of what she was trying to do but the way she did it was pretty reckless. Snowden seems like a better example to hold up as a hero.
