I haven't seen a single person on my PSN friend list playing Anthem. While I don't have a ton of friends, Sony has its community wide feed and I rarely see any screen shots or posts on it there either. I really have no idea where the community has shifted because I don't see anyone playing The Division 2 either. I really see people playing Destiny 2 and Assassins Creed or Borderlands. The logic holds if the consoles are the current iteration. It’s not really all that relevant considering this discussion, but it does depend on your definition of popular. I’m willing to wager there is a significantly higher number of PS4s being used in the world though, like it’s not really close I bet. It's two years old and the PS4/XBO are going to be six years old this fall; this is the time when the sales are decreasing. Happened to the PS2 as well. NO the PS2 while it sold more is seperated by two generations. The PS4 is still current and selling. The Switch is selling fast but the PS4 is no slouch and still doesn't change the fact there are more out there. Those it can sell more copies of games today. nublood Posted April 9, 2019 Share Posted April 9, 2019 I bought Anthem when it released and played it for a day or so. But I have no desire at all to go back to it. It was fun at times and maybe I'll go back to it one day. But it seems like a rushed, unfinished product even with all the updates it's received.
