Keyser_Soze
Well I guess the president has to get rid of them like he did the bump stocks for it to be constitutional.

Based on the current makeup of the Supreme Court this could result in not only California having to allow standard capacity magazines, but every single other state that currently restricts magazines to 10 rounds. California might end up "taking one for the team" so the other 8 states that have magazine restrictions can keep their bans.
Slug
NJ dropped us to 10 a couple years ago. They'd go lower if they thought they could get away with it.

My personal take is that if you need more than 10 rounds to get the job done, you're either not that great with your weapon or you're in a situation where extra n bullets aren't going to save you. We extended ours in response, ours were 20 up to that point.
Anathema-
So now they're trying to pretend the 2nd amendment is about home protection? Judicial activism at its finest.

It isn’t new, it is what Heller was complaining about in his 2008 win at SCOTUS.

Yeah but even as the 2nd can be strained to read a protection for individual ownership there's clearly no protection against regulations in the name of home defense. The biggest problem of Heller is how it answered a question that wasn't being asked and is one of the clearest examples of judicial activism already, even when agreeing with the ultimate conclusion.
