Chris-
My friends, you may be asking yourself, 'Ist das Rammstein?' Ja, es ist sehr viel Rammstein.
DarkStar189
I remember my first day moving up to middle school starting 6th grade. I saw an older kid with a Rammstein t-shirt on and thinking WTF are those disgusting faces?!?? The shirt was quickly outlawed by teachers Something like this
Dodger
Hopefully they come to America to support the new album. Would love to see them at Chase Field. Finally got to see them live for the first time in Vegas in 2017 and it was great, but i hear their open air shows are amazing. i like the new song. Don’t see why everyone was crying about the video other than everything offends somebody in current year.
Chris-
Playing a semi-enclosed baseball park in Phoenix is decisively not Rammstein.
Dodger
Well it’s either that or State Farm Field here for big open stadiums. I’d take a trip to so cal if they played the Rose Bowl or something.
IdeaOfEvil
Fantastic! Rammstein remains having the best music video library of any band of all time. I loved the main song, and the great piano throwback to Sonne at the end was well done

Commissar SFLUFAN
I recognize several important scenes from German history in the video (other than the Nazis, of course) such as the ambush of the Roman legions in the Teutoburg Forest, what appears to be the Teutonic Knights, Frederick the Great, the Weimar Republic, the German Democratic Republic, and the Baader-Meinhof Group/Red Army Faction terrorist group. This is an English translation: You have cried a lot In the mind apart In the heart united We have been together for a very long time Your breath is cold The heart in flames You I Us You (plural) Germany My heart in flames Want to love you, want to damn you Germany Your breath is cold So young And yet so old Germany I I never want to leave you One can love you And want to hate you Overbearing Superior To take over To surrender Surprising To assault Germany, Germany over everyone Germany My heart in flames Want to love you, want to damn you Germany Your breath is cold So young And yet so old Germany Germany Your love is a curse and a blessing Germany My love I cannot give to you Germany Germany You I Us You (plural) Superior Needless Übermenschen (Supermen) Weary The higher you climb, the farther you fall Germany, Germany over everyone Germany My heart in flames Want to love you, want to damn you Germany Your breath is cold So young And yet so old Germany Your love is a curse and a blessing Germany My love I cannot give to you Germany

SoberChef
Had to restart it a few times but anyone else pick up on the sample of Johann Johannsson's "The Beast" from "Sicario" in the beginning!? Quite an homage to a talent gone far too soon!

I dunno, a lot of lame bands do that. I'm kind of sad Rammstein is doing that.
Dodger
I really hope they tour in the US to support it.
Bloodporne
I'm not a fan of them musically at all but I do tend to like their videos. @SFLUFAN The Baader-Meinhof/RAF are in there as well. Edit: Oh sorry, just saw you already wrote that in your post.

Keyser_Soze
Since no one talked about the album post release I thought I would say that I enjoyed it. I've listened to every Rammstein album and there is a pretty big fall off after Mutter. Reise, Reise was alright but Rosenrot and Liebe ist für alle da were mostly forgettable. The new album is definitely in the better category, the two singles are good and Tattoo is great as well. This is only after one listen so I'm sure I'll enjoy it more after digging in deeper. Commissar SFLUFAN
The contrast between the light-hearted, international flirtation of "Ausländer" and the sheer psychoticness of "Puppe" is quite something.
Keyser_Soze
I agree with your assessment with "Was ich liebe" on the rise.
Dodger
I think it’s decent, and the auslander to puppe transition is also my favorite part. Duetchlqnd is still the standout track. I’d say it’s their best album since Mutter.
