XxEvil AshxX
Yep, that's Borderlands. Man, that trailer was trying really hard to be cool. Nice to see shitty fist-bump explosion emotes still exist on the edge of the galaxy I liked Borderlands 1 & 2 but man, that looked so much like... more Borderlands. And I don't know if that's necessarily a good thing nowadays. The looter shooter landscape has changed quite a bit in the past seven years or so since the last one came out. If this is going to take a "live service" approach, I hope they at least look at what Ubisoft is doing with their games and take some pointers. Mr.Vic20
I don't need Borderlands to push the envelop, I just need it to not be boring and uninspired. Make the jokes, make the booms, make it rain loot. Give me fun places for those things to happen.
legend
I'm not expecting something radical, but that looks like Borderlands 2 to the point that even the engine looks unchanged. Hopefully they'll have more interesting things to say later.

That being said, as long as it's fun I am okay with how it looks.

Spawn_of_Apathy
My reactions watching the trailer boring start. Seemed like it was trying too hard to be cool. I liked the new locations, and that big monster looks fun. I loved seeing the vomit of loot. I thought they’d make a dog at some of their competitors in the looter shooter genre, but am kind of glad they didn’t. Overall not not a great trailer. That trailer didn’t really make me any more excited for Borderlands 3 than teaser yesterday. Maybe the game is still a ways out.
jaethos
The newly enhanced versions of the first two, along with being able to import my 360 saves to my 1X is going to get me to play through them again. I can introduce my kids to them.
Dre801
I never managed to sink more than a few hours into the first two games. I dunno, I always ended up putting them down for something else.
Spawn_of_Apathy
So what’s more enhancement did they do over the handsome jack collection for BL2? Or or would it be pointless if I already own the HJC? I probably won’t get the enhanced older games. Just curious.
CastlevaniaNut18
As long as it's as fun as the others, I'll be co-oping this with the husband. I let him blow through it in a weekend with his buddies, but cause I don't care to play that heavily in a weekend, but we'll end up going through it shortly after at a more reasonable pace. CitizenVectron
I played B2 for maybe 20 hours and enjoyed it (solo). Is it worth it to try B1 remastered when it comes out? Or is it a step backward, gameplay-wise?

For better or worse, I don’t remember a whole lot really changing between 1 and 2. I played quite a bit of both games in their day. They might be the only loot games that ever really “clicked” with me. I’ve been getting the urge to revisit them recently, but now that I know 3 is coming, I might just wait for that.
