I regularly have to reschedule meetings because in an academic environment people can just fuck off for whatever reason and then I'm left to scramble to figure out how to break and remake my schedule to fit all of these subject matter experts back into an input and review itinerary that makes sense. They said I would have to get a consultation first, so they scheduled the earliest date they could on May 31. ...I made that call in February. Eight is insane. I ended up calling a dozen+ places and struck it lucky as hell that according to the receptionist someone just called and cancelled right before I called so I’m getting in Thursday. I actually had today off too (thanks, work) so it's going to be a nice four day weekend for me which I'm sure will fly by. I've mostly been lazy so far. Slept in, took the pup out for a walk, and then did a bit of light cleaning around the apartment, laundry, etc. With so much free time, I kind of get "analysis paralysis" because there are so many things I want to do. I knew what the result was going to be before I got my results since my two surgeries the year before had nurses/doctors tell me I need to get tested for apnea. anyway, this weekend I turned 36 and started taking an immunosuppressant to contain my severe psoriasis outbreak. Luckily my family and I have hit our deductible for the year in March so my $700 for 30 day supply of the stuff was $0.
