Pass in the House and send back to the Senate to vote on the amended bill. If McConnell refuses to hold a vote, or Trump vetos the approved bill, then it puts the blame right back on Trump or the GOP

Also put in some riders to take $10B out other social programs. Little things like expanding medicare. Pissing Trump off even more that his $25B is shrinking. The one where McConnell kills the 60 vote threshold? Cause there's no way in hell he will use reconsciliation, and there's 1-2 Dems that they might be able to get, but 4-5 Republican senators up in 2020 in relatively purple States

johnny
Trump retards won’t even notice if the *GOP controlled senate* doesn’t pass it. They’ll just know it didn’t get passed and still blame democrats like they have the past two years. We are in hell.

Signifyin(g)Monkey
At this rate I’m wondering if some calamity needs to happen for the impasse to end. Like a mass E. coli outbreak that results in fatalities due to a closed FDA, or the shutdown of a major airport. It doesn’t seem like the pressures felt thus far are enough to force anyone to truly bargain. Both sides are more or less talking (or in Trump’s case, tweeting) past each other now, playing chicken with the train.

Compared to infant formula, almost everything is inexpensive. The cost of raising kids is too damn high That said, there are ways to eat cheaply without sacrificing nutrition, and ramen (alone) isn't one of them

That's a pretty good deal and probably healthier than ramen.
