Just pitiful offenses buoyed by free lunch at the expense of the White Sox. But you play the teams on the schedule, including in the playoffs. in 2022, the Astros had the overachieving Ms and a injury riddled Yankees prior to the WS. Literally the first decently equipped team they faced was the Phils. The Mets and Dodgers both represent much stiffer competition if the Yankees advance. Not counting the Guardians out just yet, they do play better at home and their lineup construction is better suited for the dimensions of their home ballpark…but not a lot of life shown through two games.
