Does he realize that every single person in his stories speaks exactly the same?  They all call him sir and just gush to him about how much of a hero he is.  She wasn't a big strong man straight from central casting with tears in his eyes, but the rest is the same.

“Do undiagnosed dementia patients realize they have dementia?” is quite the question.

Let's be real, the people orchestrating Project 2025 are not 70-80 year olds that will be gone in four years. Even if we defeat Trump again, this will just come back the next election, and the next, and so on. These people aren't the sort to roll over and give up, and this isn’t going away.

Beating the Nazis in 1945 didn’t make them go away either.

There’s always going to be struggle, we just have to know it’s there.

I figure, or hope I guess, if Trump loses again then they'll start shuffling the MAGA crowd out, they'll need to come up with something that wins.  Trump hasn't gotten the popular vote even once.  They got Roe overturned but that has created a big surge of support in favor of pro-choice ballot initiatives and the GOP itself is telling candidates to steer clear.  It isn't just the old people, but Trump's base doesn't really grow, he just has this core pile of ride or die dipshits and once he's gone they'll all go back to doing whatever they did before they joined that cult.

The Project 2025 people aren't the public face of it, any rebranding of the GOP that doesn't involve mass denazification is still going to bring them along for the ride.

God, this has already been the worst year of my life.

Take a deep breath, still early but since his conviction and Kennedy's "support" starting to slip, biden has been going up in polling.

Trump claimed Fox polled more Biden 2020 voters than Trump 2020 voters—but the respondents were split equally between Republicans and Democrats.

Trump is apparently now saying that he’s going to reinstate all the student debt that was forgiven, with interest.

He can’t do that obviously, but it would be nice if the Biden campaign used that.

People really seem to be underestimating how much damage Trump can do to himself.

Yep, it’s why the media has been playing defense for him. They realize now he opens his mouth and the Average Joe Voter is immediately turned off.

He’s done irreparable damage just by existing and talking.

The way Republicans (ie my family) talks about politics now compared to pre-2015 is completely different.

Yeah, it's not just that he mean tweets. He mean tweets and politicians mean tweet to copy him, and then TV pundits mean tweet and mean speak and then so do all your relatives and then people end up getting mean beat up in bathrooms or with hammers.
