b_m_b_m_b_m
Why, you ask, am I so pessimistic about congressional Dems? Their only redeeming feature is that they are not the Republican party which is so, so, so much worse and actively hurtful We're going to have a 6-3, 9 member court (and best case) until thomas dies and then we're merely going back to 5-4. Congrats everyone.

Congrats everyone. There's a lot to unpack in those tweets, but I'll sum it up to a few things. 1. The Democratic Party is a horrendous opposition party. 2. Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are horrendous party leaders. 3. Even if they did have the right leaders and the right messaging, they don't have the same media ecosystem that Republicans have with Fox News, talk radio, and Facebook. Spork3245
Dems should promise to begin confirmation hearings for SCOTUS if GOP will pass the next stimulus bill. After the bill is passed, fight against Barret’s confirmation, when Republicans say “YOU SAID YOU’D CONFIRM HER!”, Democrats can go “Barret? No. We said we’d start confirmation hearings for SCOTUS... now, where’s Merrick Mother Fucking Garlin at?”
