Even then, helping someone down is hardly hand in hand. If thats the case, he was hand in hand with the protesters as he cuffed them too. The cop thinks this kid has a cap gun from the start and then gives him less than a second to comply before shooting him. It's fine, though, because the department ruled it a justified shooting. Remarkableriots
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/officer-shot-killed-while-responding-to-disturbance-at-north-sacramento-home/ar-AAD8xYK?ocid=AMZN Quote A Sacramento police officer was shot and killed Wednesday while responding to a disturbance at a north Sacramento home, Deputy Police Chief Dave Polletta said. Officer Tara O’Sullivan, 26, died after being taken to UC Davis Medical Center. “Officer Tara O’Sullivan was shot and killed,” Polletta said early Thursday morning. “She gave her young life while protecting our community.” The incident began around noon Wednesday after officers got reports of a disturbance between a man and a woman. Around 3:30 p.m., police responded to the home near Edgewater Road and Redwood Avenue to help the woman gather some belongings. Several officers were at the scene with the woman when the man entered the home around 6:10 p.m. and started shooting with a rifle, police said. O’Sullivan was then shot and went down in a yard. Police said the other officers were forced to take cover and couldn't get to O’Sullivan. The woman was able to get out safe, police said. An armored vehicle was called to the scene to help get O’Sullivan and arrived around 6:50 p.m. Police said officers were able to rescue her at 6:59 p.m. O’Sullivan was then taken to the hospital. The man barricaded himself inside the home, and officers set up a perimeter, police said. During the standoff, the man fired at officers several times.
