Anime Zoltraak slaps

I'm late to the Frieren party because the first episode was a bit slower than I was ready for. But after coming back to it recently I've come to love it. (And I finished the first season)

 

But that's not so important. What is important is the Zoltraak track slaps. It's also from an awesome part of the anime.

I'm going to say this. This past year of anime has featured some amazing music. Frieren, Mashle, Dandadan, Girls Band Cry. Just a ton of great music.

I also really enjoyed some of the music from Bucchigiri and Kaiju No. 8

It reminds me of the Old Spice and Wolf OST but is more aggressive.

The OG S&W anime has the best soundtrack of all anime.

What Zoltraak really reminds me of and the way it's used in Frieren is The Witch from Mercury from...MS Gundam Witch from Mercury.

 

 

Watching Fern fire off regular offensive magic to Zoltraak scratches that same feel I get watching Suletta dice up mechs to The Witch from Mercury.
