I have zero doubt that Smith will request (and will probably be granted) a change of judge from the 11th Circuit.

As soon as Trump explores every option he has before the SCOTUS, sure.

 

This issue will get to the SCOTUS and take months to clear up. Of course this is assuming they don't end up agreeing with the original premise about Jack being an illegitimate special counsel.

 

I thought they would take a more reasonable middle ground on immunity. Instead they went nearly full on stupid. No way to know what will happen now.
