One of the guys at work was shooting his .50 cal rifle out to 1700 yards last weekend and getting within a foot of where he was actually aiming. Not sure on the exact distance but a stationary target at 300 yards from a prone position with a decent rifle isn't difficult for a intermediate shooter if they are aiming at center of mass. A well zeroed weapon with an intermediate level shooter is manageable if aiming center mass.. all that before optics come into play… that the shooter grazed the ear.. it will depend if the first or last shot hit Trump.. first shot could be used to confirm range and impact then you kentucky windage that crap..
