Spork3245 Posted May 29 Share Posted May 29 Recently found this show via the JustWatch app (I highly recommend this app: you can search for any show/movie and it’ll tell you what services it’s streaming on. Plus, it’ll tell you what’s new/upcoming on each service and what’s popular) as it popped up on the “Top 10” list. I was surprised I never heard of it - it’s about a “legendary” comedian who had peak popularity in the 80s and throughout the 90/00s who is now comfortably living in Vegas doing regular shows via a casino contract who winds up needing to hire a writer for various reasons. The writer is a desperate entitled brat who made a poor-taste joke on social media, then doubled down, and lost her job because of it and can’t seem to find work elsewhere due to her own toxicity. The comedian is a narcissist that is difficult to work for… hilarity ensues. I just finished the first season and it’s easily a 9/10 so far. Highly recommend checking it out. TheLeon Posted May 29 Share Posted May 29 I’m a fan. Watched the first couple seasons when the second came out. I’ll probably wait until the third season is done before starting it.
