This is true but also, the man is almost 80 years old. He doesn't have the energy or stamina to run an aggressive campaign blitz, especially as someone who never worked hard a day in his life. And he was mentally prepared to stroll into the White House with zero effort while Biden was running. He wasn't prepared to have to fight for it. He didn't do any primary debates and he only wanted to debate Biden, and very hesitantly agreed to debate Harris, because he only wants the easy fights.
