And Trump wouldn't be the nominee if Republicans were not ok with racism, sexism, xenophobi Christofascism being the direction of the party.

I mean that’s like asking a dog not to pant; somethings are just what things are.

That actually made me lol. Considering progressives/liberals were chasing Jews around campuses screaming death to Jews and college presidents wouldn’t condemn calls to genocide against Jews. Good one!

FL is not very happy with GOP right now. Insurance market is out of control with home and auto insurance. Can’t blame anyone else here since GOP has supermajorities.

There's that, but I haven't seen people collectively outraged in Florida over something as much as the proposal to add hotels and golf courses to state parks, followed by the firing of the whistleblower.

Agreed, that was a stupid idea.

Well, at least we found something to agree on. :p

I’ll bet there is a lot more than that. All of the MAGA GOP candidates lost in the primary for Manatee County Commissioner. I didn’t vote for any of them.

And let's not forget that abortion and weed are on the ballot in Florida.

You're gonna find that line of thinking hard to convey to anyone on the right, because "extremists" are now just "the right." So they think it has to apply to everyone else as well. If some random dude yells some heinous shit in a random town, that's an indictment on "the left" somehow, despite criticisms directed at the right being about how the dudes yelling heinous shit are the people in power or are attempting to be the people in power.

The extremists on the right align nicely with their representatives, the extremists on the left do not align with their representatives at all, that's what makes them extremists!

Its hard arguing with a Trump/MAGA because even when they want to sincerely talk about liking his campaign vision and “promises” you have to constantly remind them that they are just dog whistles to get him votes and nothing more…

Donald trump had four years to pass an infrastructure bill.

He didn't.

He had four years to "repeal and replace Obamacare".

He didn't.

He had four years to build a wall and make Mexico pay for it.

He didn't and they didn't.

He had four years to lower middle class taxes, bring back the coal industry, eliminate the deficit, lower prescription drug prices, revive American manufacturing, protect people with preexisting conditions, end the opioid crisis, drain the swamp &

"lock up Hillary Clinton".

He didn't do any of that shit.

None of it.

So, how the hell could anyone think he'd do any of it the next time around????

The ONLY singular promise he kept was repealing Roe v Wade… well that and his more aggressive tactics against immigrants (oops misspoke, dark skinned immigrants)

But do elect him I want to see this Christian Nationalist Inquisition done and over with already.. lets round up all the “others”

The GOP likes to complain about high costs and the border in TX but they've also controlled the state since Ann Richards so.. look at the mirror

They've been taking a sledgehammer to their own home for decades, trying desperately to pin it on that nasty brown family that they live near.

There's ONE Trump flag in my neighborhood.. it's black & brown family. 🤦

Don't be racist. Blacks love Trump.

While this is certainly closer to typical, “normal” is not quite the right term for the current numbers. Mr. Trump’s tallies today — 14 percent support among Black voters and 41 percent among Hispanic voters — would still represent the highest level of backing a Republican presidential candidate has received in pre-election polls since the enactment of the Civil Rights Act in 1964.

Fuck off. I live in a black and Mexican neighborhood, there's bound to be one moron.

Black support for Trump went WAY up while he was being prosecuted. Many know the legal system can be used unfairly against them and they saw that with Trump.

Do you really have no idea how racist it is to say Trump relates more to blacks because he's a convict?

Don't liberals say the court system targets them unfairly? That was an exact argument mentioned in here TODAY.

Entrepreneurship. To encourage entrepreneurship, the business loss limitation should be increased to at least $500,000. Businesses should also be allowed to fully carry forward net operating losses.

That's a Project 2025 suggestion. Why do you disagree with it?

Businesses will need to all that when Trump  throws duties on all imports coming into the country. American companies that export are looking forward to this reckless policy Trump wants to implement that will result in a trade war with Europe and many other trade zones.

If you put tariffs on imports, other countries which American companies export to will throw duties on them back.

Imagine being a US micro cap company in the united states whose sales are over 70% export. And don’t say Trump won’t do it and it’s just to make trade deals. We already saw a Euro trade war in the 1st term.

That's probably the best argument to use against Trump supporters. The idea that even if you support his policies, how can you support his inability to enact his policies?
