This is the current HUGE TOP HEADLINE NEWS on foxnews.com right now. Headline is "Walz faces accusation of misrepresenting himself yet again in blistering unearthed letter" with a photo caption of "TIM'S TALL TALE" and a comments section full of vile subhuman freaks acting like it's the most salacious scandal they've ever encountered.

Imagine living a life where you spent the day obsessing over this. What an empty existence.

Also guys did you SEE Trump holding his water bottle with two hands?!

The campaigns are fighting over muting the mics at the debate, harris' campaign wants them unmuted cause when Trump speaks people hate him, Trump's campaign wants them muted cause they know when he talks people hate him, lol.

His advisors just know he’s gonna use a slur and won’t be able to help himself. They’ve also not brought up this issue to Trump

It's doubly hilarious because it's the opposite approach that Biden's team wanted. Harris' team realizes that the debate isn't a debate at all, it's a vibe check.

I wonder if these debate negotiations are just 12D chess by the Harris campaign. Give them something meaningless to argue about leading up to it, so they change the narrative to this one small aspect, avoiding talks of skipping the entire debate or arguing over other aspects that actually matter a lot more. Plus then she can offer up a comprimise and give the muting back when the truth is that they just don't actually care.

The mic cutting rule from the June debate really did keep Trump on his best behavior, and was partially responsible for Trump winning that debate against Biden.

It was 99.9% that Biden could barely form sentences and .01% the mic thing.

1,000% disagree with the Harris campaign. I get what they're saying, but muted mics is the only thing making it listenable for people watching. Everyone sounds unpresidential when they're just talking over each other.

...unless you don't talk over the other person.

Letting Trump have the ability to steamroll is actually a very bad idea because it's the one thing he is good at. Hillary looked very presidential during her debate performances.

Correct.

Further compounding the issue is that the Harris team is trying to change the terms of the debate after it was already agreed to. After all that sniping at Trump about how he wouldn't do what they already agreed to, now they're guilty of the same thing.

Compromise: let Trump start cutting in to interrupt someone, then cut his mic after 2 seconds.

Instead of mute, when it's not his turn, alter his voice. I can't decide which would be more hilarious, make his voice sound like he's on helium or make it so that whatever he says comes out in Biden's voice.

Harris' campaign is correct, and he said it on camera, lol.

Trump tells@jake__traylor

he’d rather keep the mics on during the debate despite his campaign pushing to keep the same rules as the last debate when mics were muted except when it was the candidate’s turn to speak. "Doesn’t matter to me, I’d rather have it probably on."

Wonder how long Trump plays nice with Kemp after this, hes asking the AG if hes allowed to kick the right wing dipshits off the state election board for ethics violations largely linked to some of the changes they're making to voting in Georgia, lol.

The increasing scrutiny comes weeks after Trump lauded the trio at his Atlanta rally, calling them “pit bulls fighting for honesty, transparency and victory.”
