Commissar SFLUFAN
Devolver's show was yet another delightful trip into understated unhinged hilarity "Volvy, we thought you were executed by the head of state!" "No, I was not"

crispy4000
@Commissar SFLUFAN Virtual Volvy E-Pet by Devolver Digital, FatherSonGameJam DEVOLVERDIGITAL.ITCH.IO A virtual remake of the original Volvy e-pet. Available for Windows, Linux Quote In 1996, Devolver Digital released Pocket Volvy: a virtual pet starring its beloved big-handed mascot. But a fatal software error meant Volvy would not stop crapping, and would eventually die from the relentless build-up of his own stinking effluence.
crispy4000
Future Games Show was both good and bad at the same time. It's probably worth flipping through to see what interests you. There is a pretty significant Space Marine 2 update. I took Eriksholme and Nikoderiko to their own threads. Bogdon's Cross has some style to it, but I'm not sure what to make of it yet. Got a few demos I got loaded up as well to try out.

crispy4000
14 minutes ago, Bacon said: It's actually just not E3 I do miss the presentational style of old E3. People coming out talking up their own games, and often times demoing them, instead of just rapid fire trailers. But the biggest thing I've bemoaned for years is that AAA has stepped far, far away from the playable show floor demos of the past. It's cool that we get a bunch of indie games to try out ourselves, but too many of the large publishers aren't willing to let people play their game, because that has to be something cinematic in their minds, and that no longer makes sense to produce. Breath of the Wild's free-roam-do-whatever demo feels like an eternity ago. I have no idea what journalists are playing at Geoff's event. Other than Phantom Blade Zero. It actually having a build is shocking.
