His answer on why Hamas was telling Palestinians to not evacuate didn't really convince me either. Ehhhh - satellites aren't particularly well-suited for this type of analysis. Far more definitive data would be derived from ADS-B/beacon transponder signals to determine what IAF aircraft were on-station at the time of the strike, but those would be deactivated for a combat mission. The noise in the Washington Post video sounds far too close to an object with actual propulsion than one whose momentum/velocity is due to falling for me to immediately dismiss the possibility that it was one of the Israeli intercept munitions. Hell we weren’t even allowed to fire in general directions, unless acting in self defense. I find it dubious a pilot would make that kind of mistake.
