stepee
I’m still the same way I’ve always been, physically incapable of betting anything larger than a dollar. BUT I like playing slots and especially video poker and just chilling. I’ll pay about $20 a day just assuming it will be gone and that it’s paying to have fun playing the games with the energy of the environment. I like video poker because you win enough small wins to keep playing a long time without running out. It’s just the experience of it is fun, even if it doesn’t really matter if you win or lose, I like being around other people all excited at the prospects and the noise and atmosphere, it’s fun times. gamer.tv
Very rarely I’ll bet on something (usually some kind of group thing), but generally it’s not something I’l bother with. The highs are too high and the lows too frequent.
CastlevaniaNut18
Nope. I just think, "man, I could buy all these books with that money." 1
Bacon
Yes, if I have a 100% chance of winning. 1
SoberChef
I can't even bother buying scratch offs as I never ever win & just feel like I wasted my cash.
stepee
I just think of it like an arcade, and that’s about as much as I’ll spend on them. But if you don’t enjoy it then yeah it wouldn’t make any sense. Though tonight I’m up $2.25 like a fucking BALLER.
Keyser_Soze
Never been a fan though maybe if I was sitting at some high stakes table I might feel differently.
Jason
Straight up gambling no, I do enjoy poker. I tried to get a friendly game together a few years back, I bought the poker chips and then everyone flaked on attending. Still haven't used those chips.

See for me that is where it wouldn’t be fun and just a nightmare of stress, resentment and disappointment. I think the best to experience that for me would be to make friends with someone who likes to do that and just cheerlead them.
Nokra
I've never actually gambled in a casino so I suppose I don't know for sure, but I don't generally like doing things like online poker or similar or playing cards with friends for money. I think I'm just too unwilling to lose money (despite what all of my tech purchases lately might make you think ).
Remarkableriots
I loved some of the tips gamblers would sometimes pay if they won a decent amount of money. I barely would gamble though because I didn't want to get addicted to it living in Nevada.
Derek
I guess so. I haven't used sexual protection in... ever. I usually bet on my 'pull-out' method and I've only ever lost twice! Edit: That's terrible. I love my children 💙 ❤️. 1
Fizzzzle
I like it too much. I used to have hundreds of dollars riding on football every Sunday Still, I've firmly stuck to the principle of "never bet anything you aren't willing to lose." So while I've taken some licks that hurt, I've never crippled myself. Honestly other than playing the odd slot machine here and there (almost all dive bars in Oregon have slot machines), I haven't gambled in years. I also haven't watched football in years because once I stopped gambling on it, it became much less interesting...
b_m_b_m_b_m
I might buy one lotto ticket when it gets to like $600million+ near zero odds vs absolute zero odds but otherwise I’m no gambler
stepee
Oh yeah that too, I’ll get a lotto ticket when it’s at some ridiculous amount and everyone is all excited and talking about it.
