SaysWho?
A Susan Collins PAC donated the max amount ($5000) to Hyde-Smith late October during the election. On one hand, this was before Hyde-Smith's public hanging comments. On the other hand, moderate darling lol

PaladinSolo
I want to believe the backlash this will cause eviscerates the GOP within the state, but they're so gerrymandered at the state level its not even funny.

Wisconsin GOP seeks to strip powers of elected Dem governor" Quote Less than a month after losing the state’s races for governor and attorney general, Wisconsin Republicans are trying to strip the powers of the incoming Democrats, representing a brazen partisan power grab in this important battleground state. If a speaker praises Bush for "standing up for democratic norms, being a devoted family man, and just an all around nice person" it will be hailed as a stinging rebuke of Trumpian ideals. CitizenVectron
This is the GOP's end-goal with all states: Gerrymander states to such an extent that they cannot be removed from control of the legislature (even when losing by 20%+), and eliminate the power of the executive when Democrats win, and restore power when Republicans win. This ensures that they will dominate these states forever. It is absolutely a case where violence will be the only ultimate solution. Imagine having 3 or 4 elections in a row where the population votes 60-40 for Democrats in the state, but the Republicans hold power? Spawn_of_Apathy
Remember all the bright eyed idealistic people proclaiming that democracy had won on Nov 6th when so many Democrats managed to win. I figured we would have seen this federally had Republicans lost the Senate too. So I am not surprised to see them doing this at the local levels. Republicans are criminals. They should ALL be shot.
