You can watch 3D movies but there aren’t a lot of good options to buy them yet on Meta like on vision. Easiest way on Meta is to just torrent the 3D blu ray rips and then load them on. Once on you can use the tv app to watch them and they work in mixed reality so it’s quite cool still even on Meta 3. You can look at something and it’ll identify correctly the general scene and such; though I haven’t tested it in any actual real world uses yet but it’s neat. I really do like them though. I was at the beach yesterday and listening to music on them is great. Your ears aren’t blocked so you still hear the ocean and it’s just more comfortable. It’s more like having music playing on your own private jukebox. The picture function is also nice for quick pics. Usually something passing by is when I find it useful. stepee Posted June 6 Share Posted June 6 Got my imitation bobovr strap for my vision pro and ahhhhh so much better. What’s funny though is now my meta3 and vision pro look pretty much the same. They put so much energy into trying to make these look more attractive but at the end of the day it doesn’t matter how small you make the guts when it’s still too heavy to use these nicer looking/more portable straps they ship with. For as nice and slick as the vision pro can look with the solo band it doesn’t really matter when the best way to use any of these is with that same bobo style design. Until they can actually get the weight down to sunglasses all that really matters is what it’s like inside. Another nice thing about the bobo design for either meta or vision is it allows you to take the visor part off since the bobo strap sort of hangs the display in front of your eyes. For mixed reality this adds a lot of immersion and greatly increases your fov. Also I just switched out my meta3 controller batteries and they go pretty fast and would highly recommend eneloops so you aren’t having this constant cost. 1 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
