Commissar SFLUFAN
The general consensus appears to be that we're getting the best that could be reasonably expected out of a Beetlejuice film in the Year of Our Lord @stepee 2024

EternallDarkness
Not as good as the original but still somewhat entertaining
DarkStar189
Saw this with the family last night. They definitely amped everything up in this movie compared to the original. I didn't have any expectations going in and I thought it turned out pretty good. There was a lot more gore/disturbing imagery in it than I expected. Most of it was done with a comical flair which I loved, but my kids were covering their eyes a fair amount through the movie(age 10 and 12). No nightmares last night so it didn't scar them too bad haha. I think my biggest surprise was just how big the scope of this movie felt. The first movie was like a little adventure in a house. This was like a full blown movie with many set pieces and locations. I enjoyed it.
