But I don’t consider that a knock against it, because I don’t think it’s really trying to be scary. It’s using the structure and tropes of horror movies (including Trauma as a major theme), but nearly every time an expected horror beat comes along, it’s accompanied by (or completely replaced by) something funny. There is a halfway decent build up but it becomes comical instead of scary. It has good acting tbh, but the story is ridiculous and is executed awfully in the second half. But I thought it was just ok, I wouldn’t say it isn’t worth watching, it’s fun enough for a casual watch, but it wouldn’t be worth paying for a rental or something.
