RDNA 3 is coming, and of course AMD is already teasing its efficiency.

I'm not sure how to take the fact they are going to wait until after Nvidia launches the 4090 to even tell us about what their chips can even do. Lack of confidence in not being able to beat the 4090? Or do they want the press coverage all to themselves for a time?

 

Either way, I think it's a mistake to wait. Gamers have barely been able to buy anything for the last 2 years. I would let them know what they could be buying if they could wait a little bit longer.

They probably don't care in a way. Like with there current market share they might just be selling to their fanbase at this point.

I don't know why they're waiting a month, but it's not that long compared to them sometimes being 6 months behind Nvidia with an announcement.

I want to switch back to AMD cards, but I suspect that the Nvidia cards will still be the performance kings.
