Commissar SFLUFAN
"Do you have a AA-level IP that you're just sitting on and don't know what to do with it? Then call 1-800-THQ-NORD and let us take it off your hands!"
Mark
I was JUST having a discussion the other day about this game and this studio hopefully picking it up. They must be listening. Hopefully it becomes Xbox backwards compatible now. Played some when it first came out but not enough... I remember it being pretty decent. XxEvil AshxX
I enjoyed it and put a pretty good chunk of time into it. It wasn't the most original IP out there but it was fun.
Keyser_Soze
They should acquire the Blinx the Cat IP
Commissar SFLUFAN
From my research, it appears that the IP was owned by the state of Rhode Island. I'm guessing that THQ picked it up for about $100.
Brick
Well that's interesting. I heard good things about the game and it was a shame it didn't sell well.

It actually sold VERY well for a debut. It was 38 Studios that was horrendously mismanaged.

Brian
Curt Schilling was obsessed with creating a MMO and it destroyed him and his company.
RedSoxFan9
It’s a fun game
Massdriver
It's a decent enough game, but I didn't think there was anything all that special about the IP.
Dre801
I sank quite a few hours into it, but likely got nowhere near finishing it. Decent enough. It was like Fable for grownups.

I bought the hardcover guide for it and everything Quote Hopefully it becomes Xbox backwards compatible now. Played some when it first came out but not enough... I remember it being pretty decent. Wouldn't the developer have to make it B.C.? Maybe THQ will do that in order to drum up interest for the I.P. for whatever they do with it. DPCyric
You know they are going to do a remaster of it and hopefully a sequel This is a game that really deserved to be brought back from the grave and I hope THQ Nordic keeps doing stuff like this! TheLeon
I remember playing this game for a solid 15-20 hours... and absolutely nothing else about it.
Phaseknox
I'm very happy to hear this since Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning was one of my favorite RPGs last gen.
Commissar SFLUFAN
Update - EA still owns the publishing rights to Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.
Dre801
Good luck with that then. Might as well start developing the sequel.
