I have argued for years that no one is willing or able to actually put into effect the implications of a fetus being a person. Prison is just one of many thorny legal issues. Does a pregnant mother drinking count as child abuse and can the fetus be removed from her custody? Can fathers sue for visitation of a uterus? Is an unwanted fetus stealing blood and nutrients, and do self defense laws apply?

It's Schrödinger's fetus, whether or not it's a baby/person isn't determined until a Republican decides whether it'd be convenient for the argument they're currently making. Ricofoley
Within minutes of each other this afternoon, separate judges released rulings on mifepristone, the abortion drug. One banning it and one requiring the FDA to continue allowing it. So I guess the abortion pill now exists within some sort of a quantum realm.
