Best
I tackled a lot of quests today rather then head out in the world. In fact the 3 hours I just played I didn't have any combat at all.
Best
I don't care what anyone says some of these quests are ridiculous. If I didn't use a guide there is absolutely no way I'd figure this shit out. Other than that, I really enjoy this game.
Xbob42
I think stuff like that is part of what makes it fun. It's not a game that you're supposed to just casually 100%, they like to have lots of secrets so people have different playthroughs, it also helps people go "wait wtf are you talking about" when someone mentions something cool they missed, which helps some people want to replay the game, upping the chances of buying those sweet sweet microtransactions! Bacon
I watched the Joseph Anderson critique of DD1 and it's pretty spot on for the current game. After hours of killing mostly small monsters, I realize I just need to focus on quests. It's not that I haven't killed the big boys. It's just that I have killed so little when all I want to fight are big monsters.

Just fucking walking around uppercutting ogres and chimeras with my hammer, toppling them instantly, and then beating the shit out of them while they beg for mercy. Even the drake in that one area went down relatively easily. GIVE ME HARD MODE.

Jumped on its back, planted a bomb, stabbed the face, bomb blew up, monster collapsed Sliced its face, it got up, I jumped on, planted a bomb, stabbed the face, it tried to fly away, blew up the bomb, it fell to the ground repeat previous step it died

That's what the remote mines(bombs) are for. Can't fly away when you place a bomb between their wings.

It sounds like a House counts as an inn, if it is YOUR house. But perhaps the free house does not count as an inn save.

Keyser_Soze
I'm rolling with a Warrior pawn and the attacks may be slow but they take like half health off of whatever they hit and knock them down in one hit.

Paperclyp
There are some things about the game that are needlessly frustrating. For instance, the masquerade quest I had like everything on I thought I should have, no indication I don't. I'm literally escorted in and welcomed, only to be cut down by the guards instantly without any knowledge why. Then was in jail. Annoying.

If the guards see you some place you shouldn't be they will attack you on sight. It's actually a pretty cool quest. I just wish they handled stealth better in thhis game. There's no crouch walk is there? There another quest where you have to sneak into an offical's office and I got discovered by guards and gang banged until they threw me in prison. No idea how they even saw me.
