Keyser_Soze
53 minutes ago, thewhyteboar said: Yes! So this might be tricky and complicated but also maybe someone else knows better than me. It's generally been difficult to play a blu ray disc on a PC, at least without buying some crappy software. You can do it through VLC but at lot of the time it is hit or miss and you have to update keys and stuff like that, and it might not play. Personally what I do is just rip the blu-ray and (ask me about this later if you're still interested), put it up on my plex drive and then I can just watch through the plex app on my TV, though if you're not planning on watching on your TV then of course you'd just watch the file using VLC on your computer. Now the tricky part is that from what I understand (I haven't tried myself because I don't have a UHD drive just a normal Blu-Ray drive) that there are only a handful of UHD drives that can rip a UHD. SO if you're still interested after that then I could show you the list of drives that work. Basically the tl;dr is if you want to play it on a computer it's hard. If you want to play it on a TV it is easy, and if you want a drive for the TV I'm sure someone could recommend one. I have an old XboneX that is supposed to play UHDs if you want that. 1
