i thought they made venom an actual cool villain unlike those weird ass movies

Yea. It's a phenomenal game and shockingly surpassed the 2018 Spider-Man.

There’s some modder that’s been “porting” the PS5 files into a PC executable to make it run on PC, and it’s seriously the strangest thing ever. You’d have to go onto pirate subreddits and what-not to even find videos of it, but… it’s just… why.

I'm not trying to shit on accessibility features but I'm genuinely confused, if you need audio descriptions for the game...how are you playing the game in the first place???

To my limited understanding, the visually impaired gaming community is able to play a lot of games if the game utilizes good audio queues.
It's likely that they could already play this game a bit, as the game has pretty good audio queues for steps and web "thwips", and the additional audio descriptions seem to be for cut scenes. Skip to around 4min in this video to see it in action:

Just lost interest in super hero games.

That's unfortunate. I don't like super hero games either but when they are this good it's a must play for me.

I’m sure I’ll play it when we go thru a dry spell of good new games. Right now my plate is full and I intend to beat Rebirth before anything.

Decided to log back in the other day and clean up the last achievement before the NG+ stuff… just had to punch some people with Miles’ venom. Swung around the city to deal with crimes, only every time I got close the red dot would disappear and there wouldn’t be anything to do. This happened 13 times in a row. I also got notifications in the menu that suggested that I have 2 costumes to buy for Pete, but everything is 100%’ed out and there isn’t actually anything to buy.

Still the buggiest AAA game I’ve ever played.

You don’t play many AAA games, huh?

I play my fair share. I had to reload from a recent save in Spidey 2 more than I have in any Bethesda game ever released. Mobs would get caught in geometry making missions impossible to clear, I’d clear out bad guys for crime events that would then never end, story missions would start and then I’d just get booted back to the map, I’d complete quest sub objectives and not get credit for them, I’d pick up collectibles and they wouldn’t register, I’d complete side quests like Mysterio missions, wouldn’t get credit for them, then need to redo them, costumes would bug out, I turned into a cube multiple times.

The saves were frequent enough that I never really lost much progress but yes, the bug / time played ratio in Spidey 2 was the worst I’ve ever seen for a game of its pedigree.

I had no bugs until I beat the game and my character randomly fell under the game world. Other than that my play through was bug free as far as I remember.

It was a surprise since other than one or two odd derps, I don’t remember the original being particularly buggy. But as I said in my breakdown, I had more restarts from save and actual game crashes than I did hours played, which is bonkers. And that doesn’t count stuff like weird lighting and audio snafus that weren’t worth reloading from after confirming that doing that didn’t fix the issue. Weird.
