skillzdadirecta
This fucking sucks... my ex just called me and told me he passed. He was a VERY nice guy and he and I were going to work on a project together but my brother died the day we had our meeting. He was always a down to Earth dude and would always help when he could. Damn.

Zeluge
On the page, I'm sure Omar Little stands out as a memorable, unique character, but he wouldn't be nearly as synonymous with The Wire if not for Williams's performance. Grounding a comparatively mythic character like that and making us sympathize with him every step of the way is no easy feat, but he made it look easy. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Anytime they gave Chalky White a meaty scene to work with on Boardwalk Empire, he made the most of it, and I was transfixed. I still get a little misty-eyed thinking of the nightclub scene in Lovecraft Country. And he always made an indelible mark on the movies to which he lended a supporting performance. The only consolation in these situations is the work left behind, and that which is still left to be discovered on an individual level. I never got around to Bessie, The Night Of, or Hap and Leonard, but I sure as hell will now. A man got to have a code

Kamusha
As someone who has struggled in the past with their own issues of substance abuse it’s always heartbreaking to see addiction claim yet another one our brightest. It’s an unbelievably tough battle and the stigma around struggling addicts needs to be lifted if we want to truly help these people.
