Keyser_Soze
Anyone remember this game? Nightdive Studios is doing a remaster of it!

stepee
Also the only thing I recall about this game is the Saturn version being better than the psx one for some reason.

Well this one combines both versions!
Bacon
I was expecting something a lot more metal from that title. I wasn't expecting Indiana Jones and the Temple of DOOM (1993)
vaxick
There's a bizarre cult following around this game claiming it to be a masterpiece and one of the best FPS titles ever made. I even watched a documentary on YouTube made by one of its fans pushing a claim that Lobotomy Software was one of the greatest game studios of the 90's. I owned the game back in those days and it was a fine game, but no part of me was ever like wow, this is clearly better than what's available on PC's. The only thing that stuck out was it was a huge step forward in figuring out FPS controls on a console. Still, that said, I am happy to play through it again and this is a big win for gamers wanting to try it as the old copies are unnecessarily expensive despite that game being a staple of the bargain bins back in the day. Bloodporne
I ended up buying this one sale the other day and holy shit, this game is a treat. The controls feel great (but turn on the crosshair), I really dig the art direction, the music is fantastic and man, I forgot that this is a full-on Metroidvania structurally. It's actually quite a bit of a first person Adventure game in more ways than I had remembered. There's a lot of platforming "challenges" and they're actually enjoyable and control well. I'm a few hours in so far and really enjoying it a lot.

The Saturn version is one of my favorite FPSs from its time due to its cool Egyptian setting, fast smooth gameplay and Metroidvania design structure. It was criminally underrated back when it came out. I played the PlayStation version as well, and while I remember it looking a little better it wasn’t as good as the Saturn version in terms of design. Apparently this version is a mix of the two, and I look forward to playing it.
