HardAct
Dead Cell on Switch or PS4 Pro and is it even on Xbox? Looks like I'm fighting the urge to buy this game, meaning i'll have it any moment now. Just wondering how well this game truely runs on the Switch. I've read that even on a PS4Pro it can suffer some Frame rate dips here and there, make me a little worried how well the Switch handles it? Whos playing this game? On what platform, impressions please and anything else you think needs mentioning? Appreciated!
Amazatron
I'm playing it on Switch, there are patches of framerate drops (seems to happen with flying enemies for some reason for me), it is a minor annoyance but nothing gamebreaking. Worth it for the portability.
Paperclyp
I’m playing it on pc. Obviously runs really well. I’ve heard it can get pretty rough on switch in the late going. And it is kind of a big deal because of the precise timing needed. Not sure about the other two, but assumed it would run fine.
HardAct
I couldnt help it, I bought it on switch, and almost 30 minutes later on PC too! But stopped. I'll get it on PC when it's on sale next month.....lol
Xbob42
The performance issues sounded like they could be troublesome. This is more of a combat game than an exploration game, so precise timing isn't optional. They said they're working on it, though. So hopefully they get it ironed out. legend
It has occasional dips on Switch, but it's not bad. I've gotten up to the penultimate boss (there is only more area and then the final boss fight) and think I've been everywhere else and it's never been an issue. It's also one the most ideal portable games around, so it is fantastic on Switch.
