There is the underlying threat that if they vote to unionize they will all be fired immediately and the facility will be closed. Not the ballot per se but the overall process. USPS setting up a mailbox outside the plant at the behest of Amazon (presumably to intimidate workers voting), and then just the typical one sided anti union company propaganda without the pro unionization getting the same exposure to workers. Thinking about required all hands meetings where you were exposed to pro company/anti union stuff and the union doesn't get that sort of treatment. What is most sad about it is there is a TON of business solidarity (including patently illegal collusion) that helps keep labor costs down and yet labor is scared to do the same.
